What We Found

NOAA's Climate Prediction Center week-2 hazards outlook lists a slight risk of heavy precipitation for the Pacific Northwest and Northern California, and high winds along the Northwest coast, Nov. 4-8, 2026.

It also lists a slight risk of heavy snow for the Cascades, Klamath and northern Sierra Nevada.

A "slight risk" is not a forecast of a major storm. The outlook puts the chance of unusually heavy 3-day rain totals at about 20-40%.

Long-range outlooks change. The seasonal El Niño outlook favors a milder, drier fall in Washington and Oregon. Check your local National Weather Service forecast.
