Nicki Minaj flew with President Trump aboard Air Force One to Michigan on Oct. 25, 2026 and spoke at his Port Huron rally for Senate candidate Mike Rogers.

White House communications director Steven Cheung posted a video interview with her from the flight, captioned "I think we may have found the new White House Press Secretary!"

Reports describe it as a joke; there's no sign of a real job offer. The post is open after Katie Zacharia left five days into the role.
