What We Found

Fact-checkers have found no airline banning vaccinated passengers or pilots.

The International Air Transport Association, representing about 290 airlines, said "travelers who are vaccinated should be free to travel without restriction" and it knew of no such ban.

Versions of this claim have circulated since 2021 and were debunked by AP, PolitiFact, USA Today and AFP.

The rare clotting linked to one or two COVID-19 vaccines (TTS) differs from deep vein thrombosis from long flights; health officials told AFP there's no known link to air travel.
